Hey Todd - how about setting up a free Google Voice number and putting that onto the website to track incoming calls from the site? Not perfect, but GV can be configured to ring on her existing mobile and/or land line(s). The GV interface tracks all incoming calls.

Hope that helps!

I'm always tweaking the campaigns, probably too much sometimes tbh. I'd also like to add that negative keywords are key to a successful campaign. They are so often over looked by advertisers and rarely discussed by Google (for obvious reasons). If you're using any phrase or broad math keywords, a strong negative keyword list is vital.

This article is totally on target. I run a group of small business websites. Many of our contacts are by phone. We also get a large group of direct emails and calls come in late at night answered by a service. That is on top of form responses which allow for a more definitive form of analysis.

With the volume of calls, emails, and late night calls, we simply don't get the detail of research. That is alright. It is a matter of feel. Additionally the various groups of tools and ways to break down keywords as Todd described is very useful and helpful.

One thing about PPC campaigns is that you can't set them up and just sit on them. It does require analysis, judgement and retooling over time.

It sure looks like Cari is getting EXPERTISE!!!!! Congrats
