This is one of a series of posts in which I will be highlighting each member of the Search Bloggers list, with commentary on one of their posts (new or old). Look for this series to continue once or twice a week for the next couple of months.
Meet Roderick Ioerger, the Search Blogger of the Day. Today I'd like to highlight a post entitled Top Lists Are The Pits. From the post... "The truth is top lists have become over saturated as a product and are also now viewed mostly as watered down content. Is a single sentence or two really all that useful?"
As with all popular techniques, over-saturation of the technique begins to drive us crazy. Check out Roderick's thoughts on the matter, and chime in. What do you think? Are Top 10 type lists still useful, or should we retire that technique? Should we play it out till there's no juice left to squeeze from it, or move on to something else before we've completely ruined it?

That's the Search Blogger of the Day. If you are a search blogger, and aren't on the list yet, go here to find out how to be included. I plan to promote everyone on the list in various ways. Some will be informative, and some will be just plain fun. Don't miss out.
