Great tips, but doesn't this count for every copywriting job you do, whether it is SEO copy or not? Every article should be good and interesting and concise, no? ;-)

I really like the tips that you have about SEO articles and I learned something new about seo articles. I like that you tell us that there are two types of SEO articles. The short and quick articles are used to give away and submit to article directories. These are like summaries for the bigger article on your website. Also, the more detail article will get people to visit your website.

Really some good information here.

The one thing I don't particularly like about SEO articles is that sometimes the articles are more friendly to the search engines than to the people using them.

That's a fine balance that I try really hard at getting right.

Some good ideas to add to my toolbox, thanks! :)

There are a lot of naysayers about SEO articles these days (of course, there are also a lot of naysayers about directories and link exchanges and...). It is good to read some useful advice about article writing.

To this list I would add variety. An article does not have to promote only one search phrase and have only one title. Give each website something unique to post, without having to rewrite the article 100% for each one.
