					<description><![CDATA[I enjoyed this. Comforting to see that I&#039;m not the only one who sees this largely as a marketing oriented business rather than a technology one.

That being said, there is a space for tech expertise. I don&#039;t know if he&#039;d like me sharing specifics, but a guy I recently contacted by email who is a top-notch coder/designer/linkbaiter is doing some very sweet things with those technical skills in terms of getting good links out of that linkbait. However well you wrote your linkbait, you wouldn&#039;t get those results. That said, because this was a good post sharing some helpful tips, and because Jeff is a good dude, I can pass his name on if you care to email me, and then you can speak to him if you like.

On a related note, I&#039;m looking to consolidate my blogspot blog into my SEO ROI one. I&#039;m expecting to need to read some technical stuff about that and about 301s to be able to pull it off. Plus I&#039;ve got some canonicalization issues to work out between categories being at seoroi.com/category/catname and posts at seoroi.com/catname/postname. Again, technical garbage but it impacts your ranking ability.]]></description>
