					<description><![CDATA[Totally agree with you here. So many companies are doing social just because they are told it&#039;s important and have no set strategy or goals. I&#039;m asked regularly about investing in social monitoring tools to which my first response is, &#039;what&#039;s the value add of this product? what are potential action items based on that data? is it worth allocating funds there which could be used elsewhere?&#039; It&#039;s rare that I get straight answers to these questions even from the vendor.
