I do think that social sharing buttons are more effective than the forward to a friend now a days. Because it is very easy to operate and presents many options under one umbrella. You do not have to go different sites, just one plug in more than enough.

However forwarding to friends is bit cumbersome. However I enjoy both of them.

I did a post recently about tweeting and commenting. Being a regular tweetheart and loving networking through both social media and blog hopping it was a joy to write the post 🙂

I always tweet posts I read and add a catchy comment so my followers will click on and read what I have found helpful.

My friends do the same, so lots of traffic comes through Twitter. I use Facebook less. Started using StumbleUpon and notice traffic really spikes when someone stumbles my posts.

I love the size of the button on this site. Will RT now so they are effective 🙂
