I agree with Harsh. Maintaining a website’s rankings in Google has become an increasingly difficult affair. Each new Google roll out makes search engine rankings even harder to acquire. The shift is moving toward quality and relevance (which is a good thing for searchers, but bad for SEO’ers). The key to increasing your site should be constancy and quality in your overall on-line marketing strategy.

Having a powerful content creation strategy is definitely important; still, as more and more content is being produced, I see less and less people linking to it naturally. Under these circumstances, getting backlinks from industry-related authority sites through guest blogging continues to be a very important part of our SEO strategy. Oh, and these days we aren’t working too much at on-page SEO; sure, the title tag is still very important, but we don’t make use of the old H tags, keyword densities, and the like.

Maintaing your top ranking is becoming the tough task…Every month when Google rolls out an update or data refresh I see fluctuation in ranking…
Specially keywords on page 2-3 dances like anything… Though good thing is Keywords which are ranking on number one with natural links..They are stable….!!!
The key is keep creating natural backlinks via guest posting, forum posting and yes, make sure to write content which are linkable…
