I admit that I don’t make an effort to dress well when working at home. I don’t become lazy though, but comments from people visiting me at home bugs me especially those who are not familiar with online business. I have thought about it and I am curious how it well enhance my productivity.

Great advice. I totally agree with the mind-set factor that evolves when you dress for working in the home office. I think it’s also important to jump start the day by eating right and getting some kind of exercise first thing in the morning. I wrote a post about “work at home focus”as a guest for Writing4Effect and recently reposted it on my blog.

What makes you advantage to wear whatever you want is that you are working at home and you feel more comfortable while those working in the office wearing casual dress is a must and there are proper dress code to be followed. By the way thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I like casual dress. Jeans, sweater. Now in winter her up north fleece sweaters are perfect. Hoodies. Can’t work in my pajama’s, especially not with this warning 🙂

There are plenty of people who follow your advice, Chris, but I like to be comfortable. For me, dressy clothes are very uncomfortable and as a result, distracting. There have been times, though, when my home attire is so sloppy it offends even me and I feel the need to spruce up.
