You are someone that understands how search engines crawl and index pages. You know how to write web content that can attract search engines and delineate the targeted keywords without jeopardizing quality and user experience. You know how to write a call to action rich description tag. You can apply enhancements to a web page SEO elements such as title tag, heading and the body of the page  that can improve relevancy for targeted key words. You can comfortably navigate through Google Analytics and Google Search Console and evaluate the performance of every single page of the site.

What You’ll Do

  • Mapping keywords to URLs and provide on-page recommendations (title tags, description tags, headings, interlinking and more)
  • Make recommendations to the website information architecture, content and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Write new content or re-write existing content to make it more useful for users and at the same time more relevant to the target keyword
  • Competitive analysis from an inbound links profile point of view and organic market share analysis
  • Provide detailed analysis by channel (site referral, organic, social etc) along with engagement metrics like bounce rate, time on site and conversion rate, when those metrics are trending down a full analysis with an action plan must be provided

What You Have

  • University Degree or college diploma, preferably with a digital marketing major
  • Good understanding of SEO fundamentals like crawlability, indexability and mobile friendliness
  • Strong knowledge in SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Webpagetest
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of search engine optimization experience
  • Proven track record of results with improving search rankings and traffic
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Basic understanding of paid advertising methods and platforms
  • Familiarity with paid search marketing and how paid and organic search works together
  • A passion to stay up to date on current industry practices, news, and algorithm updates
