I have had several long held positions move for the first time and others are reporting unusual ranking shifts as well this morning. While minor Google algo shifts likely take place frequently, it appears that something slightly bigger is taking place. In the past, these shifts have sometimes reversed themselves, so I will be not be making any rash changes for the moment. It is Labor Day, and Google is fond of making changes on holidays, so I will be watching closely to see if this sticks, and if so, if there are any common factors that seem to be involved.
