Hodgepodge of things

Today's post is just a hodgepodge of things. First up, I wanted to address my thought process since I asked if you'd mind if I posted less. After reading your comments, and thinking about it some more, I realize that the benefits of feed readers does make this an easy decision. I can post less, without feeling guilty because I'm not meeting some self-imposed expectation. So, from now on, I'll be posting when I have something to say, and on those days that I don't, I won't stress over it. Who knows, maybe that will even improve the quality of the posts. Thanks for letting me know your feelings on it.

Ok, next up is that I've apparently gotten on some Best Of lists, along with a lot of you as well. It looks as though both of these blogs use the same rankings tool (SocialRank), so maybe they are both owned by the same people, I'm not sure. But my DazzlinDonna blog got listed on MightyBlogger and SEO Scoop got listed on MarketingLens. I am in very good company with so many of you on there.

Dan Schawbel has an incredible lineup of folks he's interviewed for the February issue of Personal Branding magazine. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to list them, so for now, I'll just say that they are 6 of the top web influencer's on the planet. Really big names in the web industry, trust me. Anyway, if you want to advertise in that edition, you can sponsor it by going to their advertising page. Half of the proceeds benefits the American Cancer Society, btw, and you get some extra benefits as well. (Disclaimer: I'm an author for the magazine, but I do not benefit monetarily).

Ok, I think that covers all the hodgepodge of tidbits for today. Have a great weekend, everyone!
