A couple of months ago, I participated in a charity meme, and today I want to link to a site for a different, but similar reason. G-Man, our old bud who has been fighting cancer for years, is hoping to get the word out about how everyone can help find cures for cancer and other diseases. He's got all the details about how you and I can help find cures, and I absolutely HAVE to pass on some link love to him for that.
Search engines be damned! I don't care what anyone thinks of me linking to a well-known black-hatter. This is important, dang it! (Actually, I'd link to G-Man regardless, but it just was really fun to say "Search engines be damned!")
Back to serious stuff though, I hope that we, as SEOs and web-savvy folks, can help with important things such as this. I can't neglect everything else and spend all my time and energy on charities, but I can dang sure take notice once in a while and link for a good cause. You can too (hint/hint).
