TGIF – @–>

Welcome to another edition of TGIF!

I hope that you have had a cool week and that you are raring to start the weekend. It's so much fun to organise something with friends and all meet up to share food, time, stories, jokes and laughs. Make sure you do it if you haven't for a while, dial some numbers and set something up. I definitely think getting out of the city if you are in one or into a city of you are out of one is a fun thing to do. A little change of scenery can feel like a full holiday sometimes! Having said that I will be in solitary confinement in my flat writing my thesis. Such is life sometimes 🙂

Without further ado...

It is easier to write an incorrect program than understand a correct one. - Alan J. Perlis

We don't manage our time as well as we manage our space. There's an overhead of starting and an overhead of stopping a project because you kind of lose your momentum. And you've got to bracket and put aside all the things you're already doing. So you need reasonably large blocks of uninterrupted time if you're going to be successful at doing some of these things. That's why hackers tend to stay up late. - Bill Joy

Computers are incredibly fast, accurate, and stupid: humans are incredibly slow, inaccurate and brilliant; together they are powerful beyond imagination.

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone. My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone. - Bjarne Stroustrup
