Looking at BidVertiser

I often recommend not becoming dependent upon any one source of traffic and/or revenue. For that reason, I always check out alternate sources of income, and Bidvertiser is the one I'm currently taking a look at.

From a publisher's point of view, some of the advantages that BidVertiser has over the "other alternatives" is that you can receive payment starting at only $10, rather than having to wait until $100 has been accrued. Since advertisers actively choose your site to bid on, you will always be showing the highest paying ads on your site, and you can block any unwanted ads as well. One of the coolest publisher features is that you can choose to create your own ad size, rather than being stuck with just choosing from an array of sizes they've designed.

From an advertiser's point of view, your ads are site targeted, so you never have to worry about your ads showing on MFA type sites. And bidding is old-style, where you set a max price, and your bid is automatically adjusted to 1 cent above the next closest competitor, which is much less complicated than other systems currently in use. And of course, this is the standard, PPC, pay only for clicks model.

I don't know that any of the alternative choices can currently REPLACE the "standard" at this point, but AUGMENTING the standard with other choices such as Bidvertiser is something everyone should consider, whether you are a publisher, advertiser, or both.
