Better Rankings
SEO success starts with rankings. At Search Engine People (SEP), we like to divide keywords into unique groupings that feed into the SEO strategy we custom-design for you.
Must Rank Keywords.
These keywords do most of the heavy lifting. They are the hardest to obtain but deliver the biggest payoff. Odds are, when you rank for your Must Rank terms you will also rank for all other term categories (so long as you let us do our thing). Our Must Rank terms are often found within Pillar Pages, Products, Services and of course, the Home Page.
Seed Terms.
Often an extension or niche variant of our Must Rank terms. These keywords skew more specific. Individually they do not impress but as a group they have a meaningful impact. We often straddle the line between the Middle of Funnel and the Bottom of Funnel keywords when selecting seed terms. Our Seed Terms are typically part of a Content Hub occasionally linked to by main navigation but most often connected by Pillar Pages.
Informational Keywords.
In most cases, your Blog. These terms skew Top of the Funnel but occasionally blend into the middle. The trick here is great keyword research, topic selection and quality writing. Do the hard work upfront, and your efforts will be rewarded. At Search Engine People we believe in building complete content strategies that interconnect all levels of terms.
More Traffic
As rankings increase, you’ll notice upward trends in traffic. This is where many an SEO agency might conclude its work and hand you an invoice. At Search Engine People, we know that to help our clients rise above the competition, this is where the hard work begins.
Data.
Our proprietary systems allow us to track more data than what can commonly be found within Google Analytics (GA), Google Search Console (GSC), Adobe Analytics, etc. We provide data warehousing, allowing clients to see long-term views well beyond what is available within platforms such as GSC.
Analysis.
Any SEO company worth its salt can increase traffic to your website. Increasing traffic from your target buyer personas requires unique expertise and experience. Using the data gathered within your data warehouse, our team provides analysis, then updates project plans accordingly.
CRM Connections.
Our focus is on what drives growth for you. By connecting all data sources, our team can make the tough decisions that benefit you most – like putting more effort into a keyword with 50 monthly searches, knowing it will generate more valuable customers than another with 500.

Increased Revenue
When evaluating an SEO program, revenue is the only logical success metric. Rankings and Traffic are key initial signals, but without revenue, the entire program is just a vanity play. While there will be some quick wins, long-term results that enhance your bottom line are our end goal. Here are some key elements that make this possible.
Offline Conversion Tracking.
By measuring lead volume and lead quality (MQL, SQL, SAL, etc.), we can better measure organic impacts in real time and hone in on the keywords and content that best drive revenue.
Revenue Tracking.
Whether you are running an e-commerce site with precise attribution models or a B2B organization with a complex sales cycle, we have measurement models that work. Our team is intensely focused on the actions that drive real, measurable revenue.
Strategy Review.
We aren’t easily satisfied. A report that shows off massive traffic gains but low revenue attribution is meaningless to us. We zero in on strategies and actions that deliver the best results and adjust our plans as you release new products or services so the wins continue to pile up.
