Robin Williams was a quick-witted chameleon. The plethora of characters he played in over 100 movies proved his ability to adapt and react in any environment and decade - surely a testament to the success he had as both an actor and comedian. His legendary roles in movies such as Goodwill Hunting, Dead Poet's Society and even Aladdin gave birth to countless quotes that inspired millions of people. Below are a few of Williams' most cited lines, which can be used to help guide our marketing efforts online.

Who do you want to be to the world, to your audience? Surprisingly, this is a question many marketers fail to identify prior to launching their marketing initiatives. What is your company about, and more specifically, your brand? Take the time to reflect on this. A strong idea of what you represent will make it easier to write content to engage your audience in the future. It also defines what your consumers will expect of you.

This defines a campaign without SMART goals. If you don't have Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely goals, the results are going to be unpredictable. You're basically strapped in for a ride with no idea where you're going to end up - successful or not.
