AdWatcher – Click Fraud Monitoring and Ad Tracking

There's a new online click fraud and advertising manager called AdWatcher, created by the Search Marketing Standard group. Boris Mordkovich was kind enough to let me demo the product so that I could give you a good idea of its features and scope.

Campaign Tracking

AdWatcher allows you to track all of your advertising campaigns from one place, no matter where you advertise, organizing all of your ad campaigns by groups, time frames, and performance. You get to see the results of your efforts whether you are advertising via Google Adwords, Yahoo, MSN AdCenter, second or third-tier search engines, individual website banner ad buys, article submissions, linkbait, newsletters, affiliate programs and even offline ads. Virtually any type of advertising you do can be tracked. You can even run split A-B testing, and AdWatcher will randomly redirect users to your various landing pages, allowing you to track the effectiveness of each landing page.

You can track different types of actions including sales, forms filled out, or whatever action you wish to track. You can find out which keywords bring in the best ROI, track the performance of shopping network listings, track your affiliate listings and even track non-paid visitors that get to your site via organic search, links on sites, etc.

The reports section allows you to customize the information you want to see in almost limitless ways. You can have reports emailed to you or view them via your mobile device, and all reports have the ability to be exported to CVS format for analyzing via your spreadsheet program.

Click Fraud Monitoring

Of course, no ad management program would be complete without click fraud monitoring reports, and AdWatcher has that covered. It will monitor and catch suspicious activity, and you have the ability to change the settings that control the levels at which it determines fraudulent activity. In addition to detailed Fraud reports, you can have the program alert you via email when suspicious activity occurs. It also includes traffic spike analysis reports, allowing you to see and analyze extreme spikes in clicks over a 30 day period. The Fraud detector includes cross-campaign IP tracking, in case the fraudsters are clicking on ads across various search engines, and also performs geo tracking to help pinpoint click fraud occurrences. Finally, the click fraud section helps you get your refunds by making it easy to email all of the necessary information directly to the source.

The program includes lots of help files and interactive tutorials, and the new campaign wizard is simple and easy to follow. In addition, the staff is always available for free 24/7 technical support via email, help desk, live chat, and even a toll-free phone number when needed. With free installation, free upgrades for life, and a 100% money-back guarantee, it's a pretty sweet deal for as little as $269 per year.

Now, I'm the first one to admit that an ad tracking program is something that I'm usually afraid to use, because it is often difficult for me to understand and manage. But I can't imagine how AdWatcher could be any more understandable or easy to use. I didn't get lost, and I didn't get frustrated. It made sense! Everything is well laid out and instructions are clear and understandable. My guess is that the ROI on this program will be high on the plus side.

Just go to the site and you can view a full featured demo and then test drive AdWatcher free for 30 days. In addition, they are currently offering $200 worth of credits to top 6 PPC engines, including Google, Yahoo and MSN, so really it's a no-brainer. Give it a test run. There's really nothing to lose, and potentially lots to gain.
