Late last night, Google began updating backlinks across its datacenters. Most people are reporting strange results. Many have significantly increased backlinks, with most of them being low PR (even PR0) showing up, yet not showing the higher PR backlinks. In some cases, of course, people lost significant amounts of backlinks. In all cases, it seems as though there has been no PR update to go along with the BL update this time around, although it may still happen over the next day or so. Once again, Google confounds the SEO world with its latest move.
