Kudos to MikeSwede at DP for pointing this out. Microsoft's research department put out a technical report that lays out common search spam techniques and provides lovely examples that out the spammers. Much of it is focused on splog/doorway page spam. It's a fun read, if only to be able to see some of these in action. Oh, and they also kindly point out which of these rank well in Google. LOL. Check it out.
