Yesterday, I discussed making your search engine listings stand out so that you stand a better chance of having users click through to your website rather than the other sites displayed in the SERPs. So, what happens when they get to your website? Does your site give the user what it was looking for? Is your site compelling enough to make that user stay for a while? And most importantly, does your site convert the user into a conversion? A conversion can mean different things to different webmasters. A conversion may mean a sale, but it may also mean a lead, for example. Search Engine Roundtable distributed a free ebook yesterday from Conversion Chronicles called Learn Before You Spend. I was impressed enough with the ebook to offer it here as well. Download it here and learn how to turn the user who has clicked to your site into a conversion. It is a comprehensive lesson in achieving your SEO goals - website conversion.
