We all know that blogging is an important part of our online marketing strategy, but how can our blog give us a better ROI? With so many platforms to use, the majority of people seem to turn to one in particular WordPress.

Throughout this blog post, I will be looking at how WordPress and its plug-ins can contribute to successful blogging and give more to both readers and users alike.

Quick And Easy

Firstly, the biggest clue is it is commonly known as the 5 minute installation. The speed with which you can create a WordPress blog is one of its main benefits. People who arent web designers or even necessarily blog-savvy, use this as their platform to speak to the world purely because of its user friendly installation process.

This explains why ROI is highly likely with something such as this; a person likes convenience and WordPress is exactly that. With so many different ways to personalize your own blog and by being able to upload content at the touch of a few buttons, your visitors will not only see what you can provide for them but youll see a return from both new and existing clients.

Clue Is In The Title

What Im referring to here are some of the many WordPress plug-ins available. One in particular is the All-In-One-SEO pack which can offer you another way to make the most of your keywords. Often plug-ins are created purely to make life easier for bloggers, but there are those out there that have SEO benefits; this being just one of many.

The All-In-One SEO pack offers you the ability to reinforce your blog post with your chosen keywords in both a description and keywords. The Meta description allows Google to display your post with a teaser to draw in your readers. To maximize the benefits of this feature, it is worth keeping to the recommended 160 characters and making it short, but sweet.

Obviously submitting your keywords wherever possible is always a bonus when trying to move up the search engines which again is another reason WordPress can provide you and your clients with a good ROI.

Customized Dahling!

Yes thats right, you can create your very own, brand new design to entice and invite potential clients to your blog. Whats so special about this is that is can be tailored to fit in with your web design so it blends and fits with all other elements of your online marketing strategy.

WordPress allows you to design your own theme as well as pick from a vast selection they have to offer. If you have just starting blogging, you dont need to know website design inside out to kick start your own blog and start attracting users.

Of course the real gem is that customizing your blog creates a professional and trusting outlook to all your visitors. Although substance over initial impression makes a persons ultimate decision of whether they choose you over your competition, it is the aesthetics of a website that makes a client stay and browse further.

With the tips above taken on board you could see major improvements on the return of your investment. SEO is about covering all your internet marketing needs not just getting to the top of page 1. By choosing recommended tools such as WordPress, you can make sure that your blog and website are up to scratch and appeal to the masses.

    Hi Jenny,

Wow! Great points you have here. Unlike Tom Armenante I’m still new in this business and still try things. This post of yours will surely help me.
